Tulloch, perhaps horse race betting is done differently in Australia than it is here in America, but in America most the people who go to it are gamblers. There are horse racing fans who also go to the races, but the game of horse racing isn't a very big race. Most people in America (the average person on the street) can usually only name therace horse Secretariat, they might be able to name Seabiscuit because of the movie and that's just about it. In America the sport of Horse Racing is viewed mainly as a gambling sport and that's it. Finding an actual FAN who watches it for the fun of the sport is VERY rare here in the States.
