But you haven't given a reason why you think Secretariat, Citation, Spectacluar Bid, Dr. Fager, Swaps, Seattle Slew, War Admiral, Affirmed and Alydar are all better than Man O' War. I don't know what thought process you used to come to this conclusion. Are you looking at maybe, they have more accomplishments then Man O' War. Man O' War is the yardstick that measures greatness in horse racing. He set a total of 8 records during his career, 3 world records, 2 American records, and 3 track records and broke most of them by several seconds. He carried as much as 138 pounds, conceding as much as 30 pounds to his oppenents and still beat them by large lengths. He carried 130 pounds at 2 years old. Please give me a reason why each one of the afore mentioned horses is better than Man O' War.
