1920 Lawrence

by Stats Freak

Mrs Riddle wanted the public to see MOW set a track record that day. The NY Jockey Club made a ruling in 1918 that no track record would be official unless it is set in competition. Therefore Mrs Riddle asked her niece Mrs Jeffords to enter Hoodwink who had run a race the day before. Hoodwink was in there so MOW record would be recognized as official.
