Witness on July 4,1968 when Hedevar was injured in a training accident and Damascus had to go it alone on Dr. Fager and Damascus lost to Bold Hour as well that day. The Suburban Handicap I believe it was and Dr Fager equalled a track record that day too. It made a great show for the public.
