I was born on the farm across the road from the Great Man O War. I was born may the 6th 1941. My sisters and I would go down to the barn from time to time to see will and Man O War. My grandfather owned timberland farm from about 1928 until 1949. Will would walk past our house almost every day to get his work at far away farm and Man O War. We were all good friends around huffman mill road and the maddux town area.
I love it that people still appreciate That Great horse. My cousin still owns part of the farm I was born on, Long live Man O War,s memory.
