Re: Discreet Cat

But, can Discreet Cat keep his speed over anything longer then a mile and a sixteenth or eight? It may be smart to put him in the Mile or even the Sprint. How far was Invasor behind DC possibly because he too is a distance horse, I agree that DC is great at anything under a mile and a sixteenth but I'd have to see him run great at a classic distance and keep up his speed and stamina before I'd say he'd beat the likes of Bernadini or Lava Man going 1/1/4.
Bernardini is a classic horse, considering he wasn't even touched with a whip in the Jockey Gold Cup I have not doubt that Bernardini could run faster then his time was 2:01 the 10th fastest running of the JCGC. Considering he wasn't even touched with a whip I'm sure he has at least one more great gear we haven't seen yet! The race was practically a walk over for him, so its no telling how fast he could race a mile if he was really challenged. Ber was a late bloomer but he really has excelled in the Classics this fall. DC is a great miler no doubt but is he good going any father?
