Classic

Ouija Board was OBVIOUS in last Year’s BCFM after winning it in 2004. She lost this race last year to Intercontinental by 1 ¼.
A more subtle clue is that David Junior and Ouija Board have beaten each other in England. How well Ouija Board does in the 5th race may dictate how well David Junior is placed in the Classic. David Junior has run Beyers in the 123 to 127 range while Bernadini`s range is 114 to 118. David Junior has better average earnings per start life time compared to Bernadini. His first start on dirt is no obstacle for he has won on left handed courses, right handed courses and straight courses at over 1 ¼ miles. Brian Meehan paid $75,000 to enter him in the Classic. He believes the horse can run on dirt.
If David Junior can handle the dirt he is a serious player against Bernardini. Love the horses you want but do not be a Chalk Eater by picking favorite after favorite and then watch 2/3 of them lose. Maybe you had not seen Secretariat, Dr. Fager, Damascus, Buckpasser, Ruffian etc for then you would not be so in love with Bernardini who is just another good 3.
