I was reading your web page, I didn't know about the horseshoes and the weight thing. But heres some info that you might not know. Man O' War had and still has the largest stride of any racehorse (29+ ft.)! Man O' War is know buried at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky. He had been staying at the K.H.P after his retirement and one morning they found him .... ya' know. Now no horses are kept in the pasture Man O' War was kept in. He had been buried at his original farm in a pine wood box. After a few years the people from the K.H.P and Man O' Wars owners agreed to move Man O' Wars grave to the K.H.P. Now there is a huge memorial by his pasture there.
