I read someplace that the powers that be was thinking of changing the distances of the 3 races of the Triple Crown (Kentucky Derby, Preakness, and Belmont Stakes) since it has been such a long time since we had one that some people seems to think it's imposible.
What do you think?
I think it should stay the way it is, otherwise it would cheapen the race for the great horses that won all 3 in the past. Besides, the fact that we have 12 TC winners goes to prove that it IS possible, it's just not easy.
