may be interested in buying open chamber 4v heads if price is good. Would like a bare set that have had no porting done if i could get them cheaper as i would add new valves and etc. Let me know which castings you have and the condition of them. Thanks
I have a set of 4b OC heads if you are interested. They had been sitting for a few years and a few valve are stuck open(this way when I got them) so they will need to a valve job/overhauled. That are ready to go. Just add springs for your cam. They have extensive port work done and really work well. I realize you stated no port work...but these really are a nice set of OC's

Have a pair of D3s these are the ones with the 4v ports but had the smaller 2v valves. They're bare, been cut for screw in studs/guide plates and dual springs/perfect circle type seals. Previous owner drilled and tapped into the front of each head for a coolant balance (cossover line)AN fittings and line. I want $175 for the pair, but I live in central Illinois 61548 shipping would be expensive!
my options are still open. I really don't want a set that has been ported or modified by someone except maybe milled and tapped for rocker arm studs. If i did any port work i wanted to do it myself. Id like to see pictures to.
I have a set came off a 73 Cougar. This was a CJ motor. They are complete, never been touched, missing one rocker arm. Have been siting in my basement since 1973. When taken out of Cougar in 1973, the car had only 5000 miles on it. I have the motor in my '67 Mustang still. Where are you located? But, I don't want to give them away, catch my drift? Make me a fair offer!
What is the casting # on these? Are they the D3ZE heads with 2v valves? I mite be interested if they are unmodified. Can you email me some pictures? I am located in Hartselle Alabama 35640. Where are you?
