Response to Pics of my 73 Mach 1

'73 Mach one....oh gosh....talk about your "bad" good memories.
It was 1984 I was working at CSC Racing Products ( Formaly "Canadian Stock Car").
I took possesion of a '73 Mach One, white with black stripes, "venetian blind" rear window shades.
It was my first experience with a Cleveland. I loved the car...but..oh gawd...I hope you guys will forgive me..
I CUT THE CAR UP TO TURN IT INTO A LATE MODEL STOCK CAR !!!!!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA !!!!!!!!
Everytime I see one these days I end up kicking myself around the shop at least twice.

Now as bad as that was I wasn't the worst. In 1980 my brother bought a "PERFECT" and I mean PERFECT '70 BOSS 302 Mustang with about 23,000 easy miles on it. I remember helping him tear the car down to it's nuts and bolts.
The car was from Arizona and soooooo clean. But then the bugger sold it in pieces for the same money he bought it,
$3,0000 stinking dollars, so that He could buy a '70 1/2 LT1 Z28. About 6 months later he drove the camaro into
the back of an LTD,( the only accident he's ever had ). I like to think that that accident was some kind'a justice
for letting that Boss slip away.
