Right now boost is theoretically 9psi, that is what the wastegate is set for from the factory. However the actual boost level is dependent on exhaust backpressure, so the wastegate can't be accurately calibrated without being tested on the engine. I have yet to have enough clear road to be able to glance at the guage under WOT, so I can't really tell you. From an in-car video it looks to be around 10psi. If that is the case that is a good sign, it means there is less exhaust backpressure than the wastegate was calibrated for. Less backpressure is always a good thing. Also my wastegate is getting signal from the charge pipe before the carburetor and my boost guage is referenced to the manifold plenum, so boost is even higher where the wastegate is being referenced.

As for tuning issues, nothing major yet. It is set up very rich at the moment, 78/98 jets with the PVCR drilled out to .075. The only problem I have come across has nothing to do with the turbo. It tends to hesitate at very very slight throttle position, trying to lightly accellerate off of idle. It isn't a major problem but it is annoying, since once it gets over the dead spot it leaps foward. Makes low speed manuevering and accellerating from a stop frustrating. I've fiddled with the accellerator linkage but it doesn't seem to help. I haven't changed cams or anything yet. It seems to mainly be a problem when its cold, but that could be my imagination. I could just be getting used to the problem after some seat time and learning to avoid it. I really need to get a wideband so I can tune it properly.
I think my primary idle screw is too far out, I'm going to try raising the primary idle and see if that helps.
