Hello everybody, I am 40 years old, I live in Barcelona SPAIN and I love american cars. My brother and me we have got a 93 ZR1 Corvette, 94 ZR1 Corvette, 82 Collector Edition Corvette, 92 GMC Typhoon and now I have bought a 73 Ford Mustang Mach1. Now the car have a 302 ford engine because the original 351 4v Cleveland have the crank damaged. I have disassembled the original motor and now is time to choose the correct spare parts in order to mount an engine that reach my goal.
My brother and I we will be in USA on holliday from August 15 to August 25 mainly to visit CORVETTE AT CARLISLE in Carlisle PA. We will visit Marc Haibeck (ZR1 Guru!)in Chicago, Ford in Cleveland OH, Summit in Tallmadge OH, GM Corvette Assembly Plant and The National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green in a SPECIAL VISIT with a special escort of our frend Jim Van Dorn a Life Member of the NCM and the proud sponsor of the Bowling Green Assembly Corvette Club (www.BGACorvetteClub.com), in a special personal tour for us with Jim Van Dorn as our tour guide, we will also be accompanied by one of the founders of the club, Mike Hoover, who is also an employee of the plant. We will also visit the Hall of Fame Museum in Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
I will going to take advantage of the visit to Summit Racing Equipment to pick up all the spare parts I will need to repair the Cleveland engine: crank, cam, rods, pistons, ignition system, bearings, oil pump, balancer, gasket set, valves, intake mainfold, carburetor, innovate oxygen sensor kit......and more.
I will tell you guys in a next message my preferences for my Cleveland engine to reach my goal and I will need your help and experience.
