Hope some one out there can help.I'm the only guy in the lower mainland of BC canada with A ford in oval track racing. Can anyone suggest A lighter ford motor that is stock (or close) than A cleveland. Mine has 2bbl heads, slightly shaved, stock valves ,stock intake, dished pistons,balanced,560,292 hydrolic cam from comp, stock 2bbl 133v carburator. I'm looking for help on A ford stock engine that will have as much or more HP & torque as the cleveland. My problem is that the engine is so far forward in the 81 t-bird chassis.I've added weight to the rear but know i'm overweight. Also pedastels have been removed, screw in studs with adjustable rockers and I run between 42oo and 6100 each lap.Hoping for some help.
