Not that I'm an expert...

July 27 2004, 4:01 AM

I'm not an expert but I found a couple things that seem to work.
First is the name of the picture. Try to make it short and one word without any spaces. Like MyCar instead of My Car, etc. Make sure it has a .jpg or .JPEG as an extention. Also the file size can't be too big. I just don't know how big is to big...

I hope this helped a little.
Cheers.

sixty4fairlane.. I don't think you can post pictures directly from yahoo

I'm pretty sure the pictures are hidden somewhere on their servers and only accessable through the CGI programming of their photo album system. From what I've noticed, Network54 allows a lot more HTML code than any other forum that I've been to. It won't do frames or flash or anything complicated, but most of the basic HTML tricks will work. Like:
centering

>
image links
bold, italic, underline, strikethrough... etc.

So you need to find a server that'll let you upload your images and post them on websites... I pay for a hosting service(10 bucks a month, 1gig of space), so I can do whatever I like with whatever I put up there. If you ever need a place to put your stuff, let me know, I can throw it up there. I'm going to see if I can 'partition' my account, like throw 100mb into another account with another password, that I can give out to the forum, so people can go upload their own stuff. Maybe I can disable deleting so we dont have trolls ruining our purty pictures.

Thanks Ben and Danford !!

Yahoo wouldn't work but my ISP BellSouth does and it even gives you the HTML code to copy and paste to show the pic on the web, ain't they nice. So I got a full 10MB to use for pics and since they gotta be reduced to show on here it should be plenty.
