I certainly remember my friend Ronnie Appoldt from back in 1980 when he was about 19 or so and had a great band with Jeff & Skip. He was a kick ass drummer. So, when did he become a bass player? Oddly enough his dad lived in Paso so it could make sense that he would be in that area now. What is this about a car crash that's bogus? Whoa...glad that's not true!

hope to hear from someone out there that I previously knew so long ago - especially Ronnie. (PS - went to see Jeff a few months ago and talked to him for a while at the grave where we left him in 1983 - one of the saddest times of my 20's for sure. It seems his grandma passed away after he did quite a few years later.)
