Jericho Rosales and Kristine HermosaManila, Feb. 15, 2003 -- Contrary to reports that the Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa romance is finished because the former's eyes are now focused on newcomer Cindy Kurletto, who is being introduced in the soon-to-be released "Ngayong Nandito Ka," the two insist their relationship is as stable as ever. In the early days of their reel and real life romance, they reveal, they vowed not to have anything come between them.
"So far, ganoon nga ang nangyayari," they chorus.
According to "Ngayong Nandito Ka Na" director Jerry Seneneng: "Madali namang malaman if something, wika nga, has come between them. Kasi, 'di ba, puwede mong i-arte ang emotions? Pero 'di mo ito puwedeng i-fake. Makikita at makikita mo ang kung anumang namamayani sa kani-kanilang puso. Kapag kinukunan ang love scene nila. Kapag they look at each other, alam mong the love is still there. Kinikilig nga ako sa tuwina."
But did Kristine really get jealous of Cindy?
"Bakit?" is Kristine's quick reply. "Wala akong dapat pagselosan. Sabi ni Echo (her pet name for Jericho) walang nagbago sa kanya. And I believe him."
Their romance started way back before they did "Forever-more," a blockbuster movie produced by Star Cinema, which also produces "Ngayong Nandito Ka." Because their last teleserye, "Pangako Sa 'Yo," was such a big hit among televiewers, they are likewise considered a TV loveteam to reckon with.
"Ang maipapangako ko kay Kristine, I'll always be honest with her. Wala akong itatago sa kanya. Kung ano ang feeling ko sa kanya noon, iyon pa rin hanggang ngayon," Jericho says.
Direk Jerry describes "Ngayong Nandito Ka" as a movie that will make you fall in love all over again. "At kung in love ka, lalo ka pang mai-in love," he assures.
Jericho and Kristine are band members in "Ngayong Nandito Ka." He is the keyboardist of the band; Kristine's a back-up singer.
They are to play at a concert in Japan when a family crisis hits Jericho. He comes from a rich family in Baguio. Kristine's family is poor.
Their love for each other is put to a test when Jericho, in a desire to help his family whose businesses are in hot water, decides to marry a rich young woman (played by Cindy).
But after some soul-searching, Kristine and Jericho realize that, no matter what, their love for each other prevail. (Malaya)

Jericho-Kristine love duo back in 'Pinakamamahal'
GOOD news to the fans of the Jericho Rosales-Kristine Hermosa love team. Reports say a new soap starring the love team responsible for the big TV hit "Pangako sa Yo" is now in the offing.
Jericho, in a tête-à-tête with showbiz writers, said nothing is final at the moment, but added he and Tintin are now both working on the film "Pinakamamahal."
He said he and Tintin are still a cinematic pair, sweet with each other, but he declined to say if they are officially on or not.
He said that whatever's happening between them should remain between them, and that whatever is private should stay private.

Nilinaw rin ng aktres ang napabalitang pagbubuntis umano niya kung kaya't "nag-leave of absence" muna siya sa taping ng Pangako Sa 'Yo.
Aniya, ang mga maling balita ay hudyat lamang na may mga bago pang paghamon na darating sa buhay niya.
