PNG Students Ass. of Victoria Support for West New Guinea Protest

Thankyou brothers from West Papua, We are happy that atleast you've got recorgnition for your brothers of PNG. We know that everytime has their own seasons. Now you have call us during your time of unhappyness, cry and being refugee but you would also have called us with this same voice when you were in good times too, aren't you? As the Scripture says: oneday will be a day to Cry and the other day will be a day for happiness; 1 day will be a day of sorrow and the other day of Cheery and goes on but they all come according to the scadule of the one who decides it. The one who decides it is a man. He decides with perfection and rightousness that there are no injustice, bias, nepotisms or favouritisms accompany His decissions. He showed that through His only begotten son who died for us in the Cross of Calvary( John 3:16) and also by providing us both good and evil doers with with equal blessings of water, food, sun, rain and so on other esentials of life we need. He is good, lets paise him, oh how just He is!

He had made the Universe that we are part of. In it he had formed what we called the " Galexies". There are uncountable billion and trillions of trillions galexies. Out of these galaxies- there is only one to our concern which He had given a name, "Milkyway Galaxy". In it He had designed and put to exists- what we call the "Solar Systems". With in this Solar system are found 9 planets rotating around the Sun which supply solar energy that is the fundamental source of Energy esential for Photosynthesis(the very importand process for life and living things) which is only found to exists on the third planet from the Sun, the Earth in which we live.
In this planet Earth, there are 7 Continents or Regions called: Europe, Africa, South and North America, Asia and Pacific.

That man with his wide , depth of knowledge had drawn a boundries of the above mentioned regions; He Put to dwell in it a man we call, "Natives", of different kinds of race, cultures, traditions and so on.

Like in Eorope; the Europeans are white, Africans are dark black, North and South Americans are different and Asians light/white and we Pacific Islanders are totally different from all these people. And when you talk about New Guinea; its different to every people of the world, its Melenasian! God has created New Guinea and told our forefather to sprout its seeds of generations on it just like He told and did to other people of other parts of this world.

To Asians, which is bit a concernm especially with the so called the Indonesians of so called the Islands of Java, Sammatra or whatever; We've got no single commonality at all with them! the so called the Asians with light Chinese type skinned with totally different cultures and traditions as far as our Melenasians WAYS are concerned! They've got no right to deny the rights based on the fact mentioned that west Papua got its own natives and the rights of freedom; Thats New Guinea, thats not Indonasians' or their land! West Papuans don't deserve to be the part of Indonesia, aren't they?

Enough is enough! now is a time for West papuan Freedom! If Indonesians can give Timmor an Independent, which the Timmorans are the people of their own race and cultures, why not West Papuans: which is of total different cultures and race? Whats Indonesia's interests on West Papua?

I'm from PNG but I couldn't sleep while my blood Malenesians on the other Side couldn't sleep. I couldn't fold my hands and be a good audience and hearer of the murder, rape, killing, blood shed and so on going on to my fellow Melanesians brothers on the other side!

Is it me as an individual raising this grieve and painful concern? Come on Papua New Guinea, when are we going to cry and feel sorry for our brothers on the other side? Can we say that we are not the part of this? If you are papua new guinean and if you are, then you must know that you are part of it as far as your Melanesian blood is concerned!

So lets make This coming time of protest the best one! We'll tell the World that we Melemnasians keep our ways of living that Land is very foremost thing in Melanesian Culture which we even sacrifice our Life for. Lets all prepare to give the very best show and true Melanesian brotherhood spirit during this Protests, guys.

Brothers from west papua, please confirm the date of protest of July 1st, 2009.

Em tasol na wanbel stap wantaim yupela olgeta long understanding blong you pela. yumi wan na mbai yumi wan yet!

My brothers from West papua, Adik lakilaki saya, kakak laki kakak saya. saya tidak senang. Kami Melanesian seorang anak lakilaki, kami sebuah Blood.

Thankyou,

Next time before you try more oratory on us, why don't you listen to one of Obama's speeches, or even Somare's? They don't get buried in rhetoric and wordiness but shoot straight to the point. The kind of 'speech' that you're giving us is so typical of our leaders and so full of bullcrap. The best speakers and writers in the world are blessed with the ability to talk straight and simple and communicate to the masses.

The mere fact that there is a 4,9 million Melanesian Papuan population difference between PNG (6,1 million) and West Papua (1,2 million) confirms the genocide of our peoples by the Indonesian military regime acting on behalf of the western corporate interests in carrying out the global depopulation agenda of the zionist elite. Papua Merdeka - One People One Soul. Keep up speaking out for your brothers, Nicholas, no matter how long-winded or short. Hopefully this encouragement will fire up your spirit to speak out and network more.

No it doesn't confirm anything. If you knew your geography, you would see that the west half of the island is much more rugged, with higher altitudes but without the numerous, large highland valleys and fertile offshore islands that PNG has. The highest density populations have always been on the volcanic areas of the country as well as the fertile highland valleys. That's why PNG's population is larger, and it was larger even 100 years ago.

Looks like "think 4 a moment" is showing us all his association with the gay movement...

The New Guinea Revolutionary Army doesnt have a website and doesnt want one!!!

We have spent thd last 10 years fighting the Indonesians in the west Papuan Jungle, making a website is not a primary concern for us!!!

Marching on July 1 is, are you with the gay associations like "think 4 a moment" is on about, or are you concerned the real everday mistreatment of our people in West Papua???????????????????????????????????????????????????

Stand up and march as one on July 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

REUNIFICATION

REUNIFICATION

ISLAND REUNIFICATION.

NGRA, I support you fully.

The reunification of the Island of Niugini as a complete and Independent state is a noble ideal that is also achievable. Though it will take time even decades to achieve this ideal. it is worthwhile implanting the seeds of this ideal now and to recruit the hearts and minds of countries that matter and the peoples that this ideal encompasses.

While your march as I understand it is purely to bring the western nations such as USA, UK, EU and USA to express their concerns and hopefully garner political dialogue regarding independence for Papua Province, your inclusion of this new ideal (Reunification of the whole island of New Guinea as a melanesian state)must also be spelled out clearly and voiced out stongly as well. Bearing in mind too that the new US president (Barak Obama) although a black man has an Indonesian stepfather so how does he figure in your strategy if you want USA to support you?

I have travelled to a few places in Papua Province including Jayapura and have been very downhearted at the sight of our Melanesian people(s). They walk around with an air of oppression looking like a subdued people in cultural depression. I have seen the same in Cairns/FNQ among the aboriginal populations. Yes the issue of Papua has hardly been solved, nor will it ever be solved the longer you allow this to continue.

Are we fighting Asians here? the answer is no. The Melanesians are Asians themselves. So while we may be black outside coloured by the burning equatorial sun, we are genetically Asians, being the first into Asia. So we ought to begin thinking like Asians ourselved, never mind the colour black or yellow.

As I noticed a few rhetorical people's comments in other postings.. And I agree with them that the names New Guinea and Papua should be changed too to names that mean something the a melanesian tongue.

Papua New Guineans have never had to fight for Independence. We were dragged unsuspectingly into it by the current PM who did it for his own agenda (now reportedly the wealthiest man in PNG) during an era when Australia wanted us out anyway so that it would not foot the bill for a sudden increase in its social benefits payments (approx $30 billion per year if PNGeans were Australians and on the dole).

For those who continue to critize you guys in what you are doing, I say this: your ignorance has not changed since you have come to Australia to study and work or live. The same ignorance has allowed the current corrupt PNG politicians to be voted into power and will continue to allow the country's wealth to be leached out and into a few pockets while the rest of our countrymen continue to live in dire poverty amongst a crime filled society with poor education and health. So I beg you to change your attitude, look into the future and do your best to try to help prevent the disease that has now reduced PNG to be classified as one of the 30 poorest countries in the world. Your help in changing our nation is invaluable.
