I'm talking about the Joku family that has lived in PNG for many years but from West Papua originally and still maintaining strong ties. Franzalbert Joku was a prominent newspaper editor in PNG during the 1990s, also worked for the Julius Chan government.

What side is the Joku family on regarding West Papuan independence, or are they split?

Great site but what does this have to do with the original question - work of the Joku family members in the free Papua movement?

The cause for West Papua is bigger than Mr Joku. I hope you are not here to start a mud slinging match about Joku but can focus on the issue of West Papua and contribute to positive discussions.
