Anyone who watched this game on TV knows what happened. Notre Dame won the game by 2 points. 7 points shouldn't have counted because Holiday fumbled before he made it into the endzone.
The referees completely screwed UM. They should've won that game. I wonder how much ND payed the refs because it sure seemed like everything went the Irish's way.
You're right, ND fumbled the ball and didn't score. It was a bad call. I assume you are making the point that you take away those 7 points and ND doesn't win the game. Take away those 7 points and the entire game is played differently. Who's to say what the final score would have been. Teams make totally different calls based on how far they are leading/behind in the ball game. Who even recovered that fumble? Maybe ND would have scored on the next play or kicked a field goal. To simply subtract those 7 points and say the final score should have been Michigan 23 ND 18 is ludicrous.
This week is going to be sickening. This is what we're going to be listening to from the bandwagon ND fans.
The phantom touchdown and continuous holding by the ND line was unbelievable. It doesn't matter where the officiating crew was from, Touchdown Jesus seems to make the referees blind when they take the field at ND.
Were there some bad calls? Yep. Probably the most blatant going Notre Dame's way. Holding by the ND O-line????? I saw plenty of holding by the Michigan O-line that went uncalled. How about Perry's last TD? Watch the replay. That was no touchdown. His knees (or at least one knee) were/was on the ground way before he crossed the end zone. The fact is, if Michigan was all that good (#7) OR Notre Dame really "SUCKED", as this web site says, those calls would not have mattered. Michigan would have won easily. As it is, Notre Dame has a good team and Michigan has a good team and they played a great game (well, I suppose that could even be argued as both teams mayed a lot of mistakes).
Michigan and notre dame both suck. Michigan just happened to suck more last week. Overall, notre dame is the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked. And that is why they whine about their 11 this and most heisman thats as though everbody lives in the past.
Knute Rockne made a name for himself beating high schools and the four retards are pathetic. Shifting in the backfield wasn't illegal gomers will say, but do we really need to list every kind of rule imaginable so the irish won't use it as an alternative to good football????
