Ty Willingham is a class-less idiot. This entire season any number of teams, most notably Michigan, USC, and FSU, could have run the score up on Notre Dame and embarassed them even more than they already did, but what did they all do? Pulled their starters and stopped scoring. In every one of those three games there were 3rd stringers playing in the 4th, some of which were seniors that never had even gotten on the field before. Hell, Michigan even pulled its entire Offensive Line and put in subs, something I've definitely never seen before. So Ty finally gets a team he can run the score up on, and what does he do... runs it up to 57. The Great Ty even called for a fake punt when his team was up by 50... who does that?? And of all the teams to do it against, he does it against Stanford, AT Stanford, against many players that he recruited himself. Well congrats Ty, I hope this 50 point win makes you and your players feel good about yourself. I also hope you don't believe in karma, because otherwise the next time you play a ranked team, don't act shocked when they run up 60 on you and embarass you on national tv on your precious NBC contract. That is if you still have your contract by then.

Yeah, and Jimmy Johnson caught hell in 1985 because the dome quit on Gerry Faust in his last game.
