Ok so they beat one ranked team, and there ranked in the top 15, boston college is a much better team then ND and there not even in the top 20 (probably will be after these polls methinks)
Then agian, it just gives the moronic ND fans false hope
Well at least they know the difference between....

there and they're...
Oh yeah, and they're ranked because they have won 4 road games in tough places to win. Pitt turned out to be vastly overrated and they got outclassed by the irish. Michigan might not be the #3 team, but they are a quality team and they'd won 16 straight in the big house until the Irish got to them. Washington is not good, and ND beat them badly. Purdue was still ranked in the top 25 when they faced the Irish, and it was no contest. I think that ND is right where they should be. MSU played a great game to beat them, and the irish had plenty of opportunities to win. With USC and Tennessee on the schedule, I'd hardly call this an easy schedule. It's sad to see people hate a team just for the sake of hating them.

Notre Dame's schedule may have looked tough on paper at the beginning of the year. But Pittsburgh sucks, Purdue dropped out of the top 25, Michigan dropped out of the top 25 for a while, and Washington was never in the top 25. Where does Notre Dame's schedule rank now? Not all it was cracked up to be.
I completely agree!! What other team has the schedule ND does? In fact, what other team EVER has the schedule ND does? Pitt, Michigan, Michigan State, Washington, Purdue....who starts out that huge? Eventhough these teams quickly fell in the rankings they are still strong teams. Now USC....enough said. I agree; we are where we should be. We've come out fighting and we won't stop until the battle is won! Don't get mad because we beat your team!! You have no other reason NOT to like us!
And sportswriters dont seem to know the difference between

...two losses and one
First off, Notre Dame has lost TWO games and is ranked #9, and teams such as florida state and about 3 others who have only lost one, are ranked UNDER florida state. It only would make sense that #9 notre dame (who has 2 losses)should be ranked under teams like #11 florida state(who has 1 loss).
Any dumbass would know that 1 comes before two, notre dame is the only team out there that can suck and still be ranked #9. Remember this is the same team who some how after 2 wins jumped FIFTEEN spots!!!! FIFTEEN!!! The only reason they are ranked so igh is for one reason, everyone likes to suck up to notre dames. If only the Canes were playing notre dame this year, they would definately show them athing or two and finally put the notre dame humping bastards to rest, (if thats even possible) but hey maybe next year the canes would hand notre dames ass to them once more. there we go ive finishedmy rant and got that out of my system, I'm happy now.
If you want to talk about a team that hasn't had a quality win, that would be miami. The only tough opponent that they've faced is FSU, and FSU didn't look to good when they got beat by Virginia (who scored a whopping 5 points this week against UNC). Notre Dame's offense would shred Miami's defense, and Miami doesn't have a good offense this year unless they're playing Temple. ND can score on anyone. I'd love to see the Canes go to a BCS bowl against the Irish this year, because, as Lou once said 'this sucker doesn't have to be close'.
Considering the way Miami just handle Virginia Tech, I highly doubt ND would destroy Miami. Course, I thought your comment was crap before Miami killed Viriginia Tech.
id say a whopping 27 - 7 smashing of my hokies proved enough for the canes. not only would miami handle the irish, bring em into blacksburg and see how they fare.
The fact of the matter is that ND beat one decent team this year in Michigan. Pitt, Purdue, and Washington are jokes.
The Irish fans will be crying at how close they came to beating Michigan State and USC, but you won't hear them saying how they probably should have lost to Michigan. Michigan turned the ball over deep in ND territory twice.
