I'm watching 8-3 Toledo battle 8-3 UTEP in the GMAC Bowl. Suppose Notre Dame lost one more game and finished 8-3. They would fit right into the GMAC Bowl. I'm sure the Fighting Irish would give Toledo or UTEP a run for the money.

Nah. I'm sure if Notre Dame had three losses they would find a way to bend the rules and get those a$$ wipe media darlings into a BSC game.

That's for sure. Whatever it takes to get Notre Dame in there. Maybe they'll only have to finish 8-3 and be in the top 20 in the BCS rankings here pretty soon.

Can you imagine what would have happened if they'd have gone 10-1? There would have to be a new ranking in the AP poll. #1 wouldn't have been good enough. They'd have been ranked #-3 or something...over all the unbeaten teams of course.
