| This season reminds me of 2000 when Notre Dame went 9-2 against a soft schedule, got an undeserved invitation to the Fiesta Bowl over teams ranked higher than the Fighting Irish, then got crushed in the Fiesta Bowl. (The 34-20 score is not indicative of how Notre Dame was dominated in every facet of this year's game.) Oh, by the way, Notre Dame went 5-6 the following year in 2001. We'll have to wait and see what the 2006 team does. |

You don't need to feel anxiety about how the Irish will finish next season anymore. ND is going to go 11-0 next year with large wins over Michigan, Penn State, Georgia Tech, UCLA, and USC and all of you people will still complain about how weak their schedule is.
P.S. Brady Quinn will will seal up the Heisman at USC in the last game of the season with 500 passing yards and 5 touchdowns. |

First of all it will be a little hard for Notre Dame to go 11-0 in 2006 when they play 12 games. Check the schedule. Some "so-called fan" you are.
Second, after Brady Quinn "seals the Heisman" against USC, you will wake up and realize it was just a dream. Then you will find out Quinn cost Notre Dame the game with his 5th interception of the day. | |
