I believe that Niles West is not getting the credit they deserve. They have the best running back duos in the stat, Walter and Rashard Mendenhall and maybe even the fastest football player in the state as in Rashard. The offensive line is stronger and faster this year and their defense has stepped it up ten times from last year. And how could you forget the game between them and Stevenson last postseason in the first round and Stevenson ended up going to the state championship game. Niles West is now 2-0 after wins at Antioch and home against Niles North. This saturday they travel to Deerfield. But once the Wolves find themselves they will be tough to beat. Is Maine South really the team to beat in the Central Suburban League South. We will soon find out.
