Yes, I made a mistake we did play JCA in 1980 and I misunderstood my friend when he spoke to me. But he told me once again that the shirts were made before the game but were put on after the game and the players did not know about it. I did not mean to attack your knowledge about HS football, it is vast, but I am sick of people who do not know stories correctly and write them about my school. People like that scum Taylor Bell and the writer from the Tribune (not Sako, he is a wonderful person) write stuff about how we cheat and how we play this and that well it pisses me off. Taylor Bell acts if he is innocent and likes MC but all he does is write bad things that is why we would never send a player to play in his all star game. He is not allowed to be anywhere near our team and I am happy. He doesn't do his job because he loves high school sports, he does it for the money and he is too old for anything else.
You obviously care about HS sports but you should go and watch a week at MC and it will show you how our coaches treat every team and game with respect and how much our staff loves and cares for each and every kid that plays for our great school. That is why kids always go to MC because our team is a family, forever!! There are schools who try to lie and cheat their way about us and I find it horrible that an adult would lie to a family just to get an athlete at their school. That shows a lack of maturity. Tim Lyons, a recruiter for Br Rice was a friend of mine and is head baseball coach there. He coached at De La Salle first and has lately been caught lying about BR and telling discriminating stories about MC, St Rita and even De La Salle, the place that gave him his 1st shot. He is under surveillance from the Chicago Cath. League AD's because of unfair recruitring. That is sooooo wrong and he used to be a high school friend for a long time.
I care about HS athletes because they are taken advantage of at a young age and I know MC is a great place to grow into a man because I am a good example as well as many others. Our captain, my senior year Tony Mazurkiewicz,a Strong Safety on the 1991 MC state team and Salutatorian of my graduating class ( finished #2 in grades 4.57 GPA)went and captained Yale's football team for two years and now is in a seminary becoming a Carmelite priest. That is what effect this school has on kids and makes them men!!! Do an article on him and that would show what great things happen there off the field.
I just hate cheap shots because they are always taken at the schools that are champions not at the losers. Just look at Notre Dame University for that. Thank You fro the efort IHSFW and I apologize if I insulted you at all but if you need anything to know about MC, I will be able to tell you so go ahead and write me!!!
Good Work and don't look past Mount Carmel this year, I know they will turn it around and shock people and to all you Br Rice fans, we havce beat you countlessly for the last 15 years, so one loss is a big thing to us and if we meet in the playoffs we will get you but if not next year we have 14 returning JR starters and 1 Sophomore, so payback is a b*tch!!! But do not worry St Rita will beat the hell out of you next week and you will lose in the 2nd or 3rd round of the playoffs, so be happy you finally beat the champs on a real down year!!!
LOL
