I don't know that we held our own but we sure worked hard at it and at least finished ahead of a few teams of pretty good fisherpeople. Both teams had 1 miserably bad day and that pretty much did us in.
Chris didn't take her Guidewear so she suffered a little from the weather, other than that we both thouroughly enjoyed the week and we both would like to go back again but what a drive to get there. The place was "SO" different from anywhere else I've fished and I really had a good time trying different methods.
Now I'm ready for some real Walleye fishing. Other than a week at Red Wing early next month, we'll be concentrating on your area the rest of the year, looking for those 15# and bigger fish again. See you soon, maybe this weekend if I can get that Devil's Lake crud out of my boat.
Mark, the fish are here, try the 27/27 and the 28/28 lines to the 31/31 lines. you know about the ones out front of vermilion, but nobody is trying here now. Mary and i have a musky tournament this weekend, and the guys that watch the store for me are musky fishing too, so there may not be anybody at the shop. good luck and good fishin.
