Saturday was slow in the morning, and also rough water conditions, Sunday was a little slow in the morning, and as the day went on the action picked up. the fish were high but not as high as the other day, today it seemed to be in the top 20 foot again, with some coming deeper. the speed was around 2.2mph. the 28/28 lines, and the 28/31 did some fish, the better area seemed to be from the 34/18 to the 35 21 lines. the 20 jets back 45 to 60 foot. the reefrunners pulled some fish, back from 45 to 60 foot also. color didnt seem to be a concern on reefrunners, but the spoons it was shrimp, hawg wild, confusion, superman, and blueberry muffin. i am going out monday for a while, so maybe i will have something to report monday night. good luck and good fishin.-----OH, the bigger perch wer being taken at the 35/18 line today.

Huron - 9/30

Den, how did you do today? Are the eyes back toward 27/27 or 30/30. Sunday's 17-mile boat run from Huron was a long one (but a good one). We caught 20 on Sunday, and did a lot of catch and release. Reefrunners 60' back was the best setting. Cranks did better than spoons for us on Sunday.

Today we got our limit of real good sized perch (120 of them) and then got our limit of eyes (24) with a few throwbacks. we had some real nice fish, a lot of 4 to 7 pound fish, and a couple of them that were over 8 pounds. it was a great day to be on the water. good luck and good fishin. the 35/18 for perch, and the 35 /19 for the eyes.
