Any closeby trollin' or river reports on Vermilion Steelhead action?

Ray, river just got opened up this past weekend and still lots of shore ice to contend with. Only boats operating so far are the icebreakers.River is high and muddy.Den is at the Sportshow till Sunday. How is IL?

IL .. the main is about half or better open today except for the Northside & non-flow channels

IF YOUR NEEDING TO DO SME STELHEADING, THE ROCKY RIVER IS PRETTY WELL OPEN NOW, AND I HAVE BEEN TOLD THE FISH ARE BITING. SPAWNSACS AND JIGS AND MAGGOTS SEEM TO BE THE BEST BET. GONNA TRY IT SUNDAY MYSELF. TIGHT INES EYE PROBLEM
