Well gang, it is about time for they eye action to get going in our area now. the perch bite is going good in water from 22 to 30 foot of water, and the smallmouth bass bite is great in 15 to 26 foot of water, some steelies are being taken north from the mouth of the river. there have been some eyes taken in the area in water depths from 30 to 38 foot of water, both east and west of Vermilion. the reefrunners run deep have been the best so far. the bite is slow, but it is early here . hang on, and lets catch some bigguns now. good luck and good fishin.

I heard the I-Guys have been Droppin' the Hammer Hard in your Area .. However, I'd kinda like to know how the Silver-Bullet bite is & when to hit your area to the sand bar area/Hot-waters for a trip up with my Sons for the slam bite & when the prime-time might possibly be "this year" by Den's Guess-tim-mate . I really don't have a clue other than last winter Steve thought the weekend of June 28-29 might be the peak SB bite by previous years .. Thanks, if ya can give the old fart a guess/guide-line for this years SB prime-time bite
