We took 5 kids fishing on the 4th, all caught their very own steelhead. Quite a proud group! 4 of us went out early on the 6th, 20 fish limit with 4 bonus walleyes by noon. 40/15 to 40/16, Fish were breaking the surface chasing bait. Most fish caught early @ 20 feet deep in 56 fow. All were magnificent jumpers, quite a thrilling day. #3 dipseys set 40 feet out, #2 at 35 and #1 at 30. IN YOUR FACE FISHING!!! Had a big fish cookout, fresh steelies on the grill, basted with olive oil, salt and garlic pepper. Need to pick through a few bones, but just outstanding flavor and texture. Blue and chrome as always. I've never had a better weekend!
