Good question, after the winds and rain that went through here the last few days it is starting to calm down and clear up some. Today i dont think there were many boats out today, at least there wasnt much chatter on the radio. the weekend looks decent as far as the weather goes. It seems as though the island area has slowed down, and the sandbar area has been getting a little better as the water is cooling some now. Before the hurricane hit the eyes were beginning to go pretty good around here. Friday should tell us more as the water is settling down now, and the guys will be going out to the different areas to find the eyes again. There were some taken at the 34/13, 37/17, 31/15, 31/19 34/22, and some taken in closer to the banks, around Sherod park (Vermilion) and Ruggles reef area. They were taken on reefrunners, and the stinger spoons in the deeper waters, at speeds of 2.3 to 2.6mph. closer they were taken on reefrunners, and worm harnesses trolled slow. i hope this helps, give me a call, or stop in and i will be able to give you more info Friday too. good luck and good fishin.
