Well gang, it be about time for the new year to start, so lets start with being safe. With the water temps being low, if you end up in the drink, it wont take but a few minutes for the cold water to nail you, so be careful, and dont fish alone at this time of year. It wont be long before the lake will open up for the early birds, and the bigg-uns may just start early this year, they sure werent disturbed last fall much. good luck and good fishin, and be safe.

4/09/- there were some nice perch taken out of Vermilion.Today-4/10 it was another north-east wind, and the lake is all messed up again, but it is getting a little warmer, and the water should start cleaning up a little quicker again. It wont be long before the eyes should be going here. I will post when the guys start getting some. good luck and good fishin-- Be safe.
