I think most people slip up and swear when angered. There are actually very few words that bother me. After all, it's a matter of semantics.
I knew a woman that would substitute the word sugar for sh*t. I told her I thought it was silly since all whe was doing was creating a new swear word. The 'intent' was still there. It wasn't so much what she was saying, but how she said it.
I can compliment people, however, having been called so many things in such a short time, I may be cautious for a bit.
