Today the Denver Post, that beacon of moderation in the DMZ between God's Own Colorado Springs and the People's Republic of Boulder, has issued their endorsement for president. Their choice is Bush. Their lengthy justification for their choice basically says Bush has screwed up a lot and Kerry has lots of good ideas, but then Reagan screwed up in his first term and became a great leader, ending the Cold War in his second term. The Post thinks Bush will change his ways just like Reagan and lead the world to the promised land. They're not convinced Kerry has what it takes to do this, although he is a nice guy.
