it's only happening on my longer posts, where I'm putting more time and effort into.

Yeah, maybe that would be a good idea. Write it somewhere else first.

But, then I almost think of it as maybe what I wrote shouldn't be posted.

Why should I be spending so much of my time responding to a spin-off from some wacko fundamentalist religion site.

It isn't like anyone here takes this person seriously.

Just gets my goat, that's all.
