rare car It's complete except for 2 headlights, front bumper radiator and engine block.trans IS still there and rolls just fine.car steers like new.very solid car way underpriced at 5K.this car Is really rare since It's In between the model year change whats od about the car Is that It has a trunk but no glove box.everyone knows that these car had trunk and glove boxes In late 1951 only the early 51's didnt have glove boxes.solid car the doors havent even dropped so the cowl Is solid and sturdy like new.car needs very minor floor work and body dings fixed. It will also need outer rocker panels which are less then typical shape they have little spots here and there of rust.could be patched but to be show they will need changed.

Actually, Henry Js did not have glove boxes at all in 1951. As you mention, later '51s do have trunk lids but no '51s had glove boxes. I've seen some that people have hacked into them, there was one on ebay recently that was clearly a hack job. Glove boxes were a new feature introduced on the 1952 Corsair series cars. This is was anounced in Kaiser-Frazer service bulletin #323. All Henry Js had glove boxes starting with the 1952 Corsairs. The 1952 Vagabonds were hold-over 1951s so they do not have glove boxes.
Your car is a run of the mill 4 cylinder 1951 Henry J, which in and of itself is a rare car as cars of the 50s go, but among Henry Js it's typical.
It will likely be a good seller as they all are - best of luck with it.
