I dont think I should have considering I have a ton of other parts that will go with the car If I get the 5,000 original asking price.but your not far off I would let the car by iItself go for 4K. with no extras.

Tony I would have bought your car long time back but your a smart a** and made a dumb comment that I didn't have any money, but you are so wrong. I am now sitting on three here in OHIO!!. I noticed that when you listed it on ebay you had alot of comments that were really aragent. I have been doing business all around this country with Henry J parts and other items and you need to just calm down and be more alittle friendly and not a pure idiot.

I have to agree, his last ebay ad was laughable! He was just begging someone to take that over-priced piece car that he clearly paid too much for, off his hands. The part about it being 'rare' because it has a trunk lid and no glove box is hogwash. No 1951 Henry J ever orignally had a glove box. They were not introduced till the 1952 models and all KF literature, including the official parts book, shop manual and factory service bulletins confirm this. In 1951 there were 2 accessory groups which included a trunk lid on the four cylinder models and they were AG 10 and AG 17 and pretty popular in their day. I know he claimed some 80 year old person told him he'd only seen one other HJ with a trunklid and no glove box but most 80 year olds don't have trustworthy memories. Any lawyer will tell you 'the worst witness is an eye witness' and by the way, I own three 1951 Henry Js with trunklids and no glovebox and I have pictures of literally hundreds more... because most of them are that way.

Please leave the cost of our Fiberglass 51 gasser package out of this, there is absolutely no comparison between our car that we manufacture and what you are selling,

It is not smart to make people mad on the internet because word gets around so fast. This is quite evident with the "love" being shown to 'Modelkitbasher' on this forum.

Hi Tony (AKA Anonymous),
I didn't send the above post (although I agree with it 100%) but you thought I did (the reference to the Ford truck is the give away). I am surprised at the confrontational tone of your email messages since there have never been any harsh words between us before. I was willing to trade the truck for your Henry J. I sold the truck for $2,200.00. This is a fair evaluation of the car you are trying to sell. I am always interested in Henry J's for sale, even when they are as rough as yours because the parts are getting harder to find all the time. The reason we made the investment in the Fiberglass car is so guys that want to build a Henry J street rod don't have to settle for a rusted out, broken down piece of junk like your car or cut up a nice restorable car like I did. Buying ours you get much more than just a body (check the website flashbackauto.com). Tony, nobody has to buy our car and nobody has to buy yours, it's strictly a matter of choice.
Maybe the best way to resolve this problem for you and the rest of us is to have you go ahead and scrap the car like you mentioned in your earlier email. Then you won't need to come to this forum and badmouth people who are not involved in your petty disputes with everyone who disagrees with your interpretation of car condition and scarcity.

Henry Alexander

I diagree henry and your right we have never had any harsh words with each other before and I'am selling a very restorable buildable car for alot less then a plastic car............I simply advertised my car for sell you have no right to knock what I'am selling.my point Is your alittle off on your assements on my car the car of mine In your words a pile of junk got up to $3,800+ on e-bay 6 months ago qand I was asking 5K for my complete JUNK car and another half of a junk car for parts.so I think It would be best for you to re asset my junk before you got throwing low ball offers this Is not 1960 anymore and you cant buy rare cars for low prices anymore. If this was the case how would you sell a fiberglass car for$ 21,750 as a roller?think about It.dont write me back with petty comments sir your over 55 years old and acting like your 15.have a great night.

Hi,
I went to www,flashbackauto.com to see pics of your fiberglass J but saw nothing that mentioned a Henry J at all. Could you give me some help in finding your product?
