HAVE A 2003 DODGE RAM WITH A 9007 BULB. WHAT WOULD BE THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAY TO CONVERT THEM TO HID. WOULD CONVERTING THEM TO AN OEM SETUP BE THE BEST WAY? HOW WOULD I GO ABOUT CONVERTING THEM TO AN OEM SETUP FOR BEST BEAM PATTERN AND LEAST AMOUNT OF STRAY LIGHT. WILL A 9007 "PLUG & PLAY" KIT WORK WELL FOR A 9007 OR IS IT JUST A WASTE OF TIME? CATZ BI-XENON KIT?
my 1996 ford thunderbird produced this skull pattern with an bent arm pattern sticking out of the left side of it smacking oncoming drivers as i passed. no matter what i did, i couldn't get a decent beam pattern in the stock 9007 reflectors. needless to say, i had to remove my hids' and drive around with halogens till i adopted aftermarket H4 4" reflectors from autodynamics into the stock housing. the beam pattern improved from the 9007 setup, but, still created alot of glare and an fuzzy cut off line. go with an aftermarket headlamp reflector if you really need to have hids' like the IS300's reflectors or something to that effect. they look like they will fit with some creative securing methods and give you an oem beam pattern for hids'.
