Found this looking for something else; not exactly light (bulb) related, but hey, it makes light!

That would have been very useful today! Just got back from a 400 km trip today. I always swear I have to invent something bad to get those tailgaters off my rear end!

I actually have a box of caltrops on my car. The flap to open them is powered by a linear actuator.

They're useful against police and shady-people that try to follow you (I get followed all the time, I DON'T KNOW WHY :S).

Anyways, those sparks are cool too! I think I'm getting some!!!

A new weapon against Tailgaters???

Mounting Aircraft Landing Lights on your back bumper is nothing new...Trucker's and Utility Rig's have been doing that for decades...Once in a while the jerk behind you turns out to be a County Mounty,or if your real Lucky a CHP...(-;Guess what happen's when you hit the kill Light's???(-;The Cop pull's you over and write's you a ticket, that is so nasty that you will wish you were dead...(-;So here's a thought if you are thinking about mounting some Kill Light's,,,(-;To be within the traffic law's, they must be directed tward the ground,so you may ajust the beam to hit the ground 10' behind your vehical,or you may ajust the beam to hit the ground 100'behind your vehical...You should also wire a backup alarm into your kill light system, so that you know when it is on...(-;This is how I have wired all of my utility truck's for the past 20 years...(-;A new Item on the lighting market has been the LED Backup Lamp's, they too are bright, they cost about $80 per lamp, But they last about 20 years simply because there is nothing to break or burn out...(-;Good Luck, Kid's...*J*
