Accord G2 headlights with X5/E39 projectors pics

Second time around, I corrected all the mistakes I made with the Hella H9s. Aftermarket G2 projector headlights have decent room inside the housing for many OE projectors. X5 projectors are probably one of the largest ones I have encountered, so I think the G2 housing should fit most other OE projectors. However, the X5 lense is a very perfect fit for the circle in the front "after" trimming, Anything larger than the X5s will not fit into the G2 housing. The front part of the housing is also painted with the fake chrome spary paint, which is not as reflective as real chrome (so reduces unwanted glare) but still look decent. Here are the pics let me know what you guys think.

The last pics is my favorite, which was 40 feet away from the wall, that's an approximatelly 55 feet long cut off/beam pattern (consider the two doors in the pics is 5 feet wide).

I'd say that the install looks great! To me, it resembles OEM VW headlights.. but it's very smooth and original looking. You've done a really nice job.

Hey Tom:

What arrangement do you have?
Are the E39 your low beams/X5 your high beams, and the halogen reflectors your signaling for rebase???

It's a great retrofit that you've done!

I'm jealous 'cause you have enough room for install not only 1 or 2 projectors + reflectors!! (I own a '99 Dodge Stratus with a very narrow headlamps, and for sure it's gonna be difficult to fit some projectors there)

The smaller projectors are just the P.O.S. H3 projectors that came with the headlights originally, the bigger ones are the X5 projectors, which are almost identical to E39 projectors. Reflectors are for high beams (pretty decent high beams actually for being aftermarket headlights).

Hey Tom.....I might have to go with some S4 projectors in my G2. The H7s are ok but its just too much time with the fit and finish and trying to get it to work as good as oem.

A4s in G2

If I remember correctly, the A4 projectors look very similar to the H3 projectors in the G2, should be a great fit.

Think so.....What about some of the bi-xenon projectors on ebay selling for 140-160...?? I want to be different than your install so im trying to stay away from the x5 but if i can't find something reasonably priced then the X5 projector it is...

Where did you buy your X5 proj...?

well...

Bi-xenons may be a lot more difficult and the size of bi-xenon varies too. But if you ask me to do this all over again, I would not use X5s, too deep and almost too large (I even had to trim out a lot of plastic in the back part of the housing and re-seal them up). I got mine on eBay for $165 shipped from "carpartzguy." Great seller, 500+ positive feedback and 1 negative feedback. I would say that's almost as good as it gets on eBay.
