They should be ok. If you get them from a local hella dealer, they might give you a return possibility (just in case), if returned as new nicely in the box. Hella has several similar models without the angel eyes as well if u don't like that styling - angel eyes doesnt look right on all cars.

Thanks for the info!! Yeah I considered the look. my vehicle has nothing round on the front so they may be out of place. I liked the remote switch. also Hella new FF100/200/300 series are a nice pair of lights with free form lenses and very flexible mounting systems. THese are 100% Hella and should perform well. I dont want to spend too much on lighting to substitute the high beams as they just dont get much use except when travelling.

I don't know if those particular lights are any good because they are Hella in name only; the entire Optilux line is of "Chaiwanese" origin, and Hella just puts its name on the box.

That's pretty cheap for a pair of fog lights.

I have a set of those :P
It has metal reflector, clear lense with H3 bulbs.
The ring looks nice, but if you have them on at the same time than there is big difference between the colour. But this shouldn't be a problem was the stock wiring would not allow for that.
The harness comes with inline fuse and relay.

Check out Rallylights.com. I've heard they have good customer service. Also this site has a Hella store where a lot of the lower priced Optilux brand is sold;

I dont want to spend a lot of bucks, $140 tops as I dont get a chance to use high beam/driving lights.
