projector cover idea

Reflectors for DJ/stage lighting. They're made of aluminum and the bulbs used on them are 600-watts,so they should be able to handle a projector's heat output (bulbs aren't included with the reflectors) Turn them over and you've got a perfect cover.
I don't know what the diameter is of the PAR56 reflector shown here,but as a reference the smaller PAR36 lenses are 4 & 3/8" diameter. I'll go ask some DJ friends to measure their lighting for me.

I hate to be negative, but wouldnt they be too flat paint looking in comparison to the automoative reflector? If used as the picture to the right?

I'd polish them first of course.
Did some searching and found out dividing the PAR # by 8 gives you the diameter,so a PAR56 is 7".
