I may have asked this before, but does anyone know what kind of paint is used on the D2R strips? Is it baked on to it? I'm just curious.

This is probably something Nick could tell u all about, but I am convinced that the D2R has a ceramic coating. One of the reasons is that it does not respond to normal paint removal products and that it tends to "fill up" a sandpaper instead of falling down with gravity.

Are there ways to buy this ceramic coating...or something similar?
