How to identify H4 HeadLights?

How do I identify the diameter of my headlights? I'm not sure if they are 5" or 5 3/4. What is the correct diameter in centimeters? And where do you measure it? Is it on the outside of the hole light or is it at the top of the lens rim?

Sort of a silly question, but I'm new at this...

Thanks

BTW, I drive a 1994 SsangYong Korando Soft top and I need a couple of new Low headlights, and maybe I'll increment some fog lights too.

25.4 mm = 1 inch
0.0397 inch = 1 mm.
What does your measuring device indicate? 5" headlight fixtures DO exist, but they're unusual.

I know de conversion rate...
But I has told I have 5" round H4's, but they don't measure 5"... Well, they do on the top of the lens, but on the outter shell, they measure about 5 3/4". So I'm not sure about it.

It's just REFERRED to as a 5" light (laziness, verbal shorthand, whatever); if the light shell actually measures 5-3/4" across, that's what it is.

The housing for the light measures exactly 146 cm across, so it should be 5 3/4"

146 cm = 57.48 inches, about 4.8 FEET; a very large headlamp, indeed.
