I have a pair of 92-95 honda civic projector headlamps that have been converted over with ds2 projectors from a 2001 Honda S2000. They look great at night, nice cut off line and shine very far. Have not been pulled over and have had lots of compliments. I'm letting them go for $500 shipped. Philips 6000k bulbs included. I paid $200 for proj.headlights, then $500 for s2000 headlights,$200 for the 6000k bulbs and did the work myself. Conversion and bulbs are only 6 months old, only driven at night occasionally. email me for pictures and offers.
Sorry, but those pics don't show jack. How 'bout some close pics of install, mounting, weatherproofing, and some nice against-the-wall pics. Your pics shown are not even clear enough or big enough to be able to tell if it is an HID bulb kit in stock fixture's reflector, or an OEM projector retro.
LOOK AT THE CAR,DOES IT LOOK LIKE I CUT ANY CORNERS,I DON'T THINK SO!! I DIDN'T TAKE PICTURES WHILE PUTTING HEADLIGHTS TOGETHER. WHY WOULD I BE BULL****TING ABOUT S2000 PROJECTORS AND D2S BULBS IF I HAD AN AFTERMARKET H3 HID KIT INSTALLED. MOST PEOPLE WHO BUY THOSE KITS ARE TAKING THE EASY WAY OUT BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE HELL THEY ARE DOING. THESE ARE LEGIT,I'M SELLING THEM BECAUSE I JUST BOUGHT A SET OF 2002 Q45 HEADLIGHTS OFF EBAY. I'M PUTTING A 99-00 CIVIC CONVERSION FRONT END ONTO MY 94 CIVIC(SHOWN IN PICTURES) THEN INSTALLING THE Q45 MULTI-LENSE PROJECTORS INTO THE STOCK 99 HEADLAMPS. I WON'T HAVE HIGH BEAM ANYMORE BUT I DON'T THINK I'LL REALLY NEED IT WITH THESE PROJECTORS. TELL YOU WHAT THIS TIME,I'LL TAKE PICTURES OF THE CONVERSION FOR ALL YOU ROOKIES. I'M MAKING THE HOUSING FOR THE MULTILENSE PROJ. OUT OF ABS PLASTIC AND FIBERGLASS,THEN SENDING TO BE CHROMED AT THE SAME PLACE THAT DOES AUTOMOTIVE INTERIOR CHROME COVERED PLASTIC. IT WILL LOOK OEM AND WILL USE OEM ADJUSTMENT SCREWS.
no need to get defensive, he's only asking for better pixs.... you don't show pixs of lighting in a brightly lit parking lot and not expect to be blasted for it.
^pixs like that is what he was asking for. light against a wall and some road shots where you can actually see the light in action and not the road being lit by a parking lot light grid.

Chill Jeff, what is deer saying is that if you're going to sell a retrofit housing then post pics of close-up pictures of it. He's not asking pictures of making it.....

Yeah, take a deep breathe dude. No harm intended. I'm not even interested in them, I was just saying that the pics you supplied are not very definitive. People can't even tell what type or style of aftermarket projectors you used to start your retro with. I was only offering some constructive criticism is all. If it was my car and I was trying to sell mine, I'd take one unit (whole fixture) out of the car and take some pics of it at all angles, and then get a couple against the wall pics (which Pliepl might[?] even let you borrow since his pics already show against the wall for S2000 projectors) and I'd explain how the backs got weatherproofed (if it was any different than the H3 units that came out of your fixture). Just a little more info is all. Please don't get defensive about my comments, as I never mean to make anybody mad.
Also, some more constructive advice, if you live in the city (where there is always citylights) then you MAY be able to get by without highbeams, but if you live in an area where you drive in the real darkness, or where there are hills and curves then you might find that you DO need highbeams. I too, had once argued that this was not the case, a long time ago before I ever believed that they were necessary, but now I am a believer as well. The HID if anything, makes you see WORSE beyond your cutoff line in your beam since it lights up your foreground so bright. The highbeams aren't there to add more light into your lowbeam area, but are only there (if aimed properly) to bring light ABOVE the cutoff of the lowbeam's reach. I went through this whole deal before, in my S-15 truck's conversion. I later added HID driving lights (they have a highbeam pattern) properly aimed to light up BEYOND the cutoff. And I can't imagine not having them. When I'm pointed downward into a dip of a bunny hill, and can't see JACK since my foreground is so bright (irisus are small in your eyes). The highbeams are only there to extend your light beyond cutoff. Point can't be stressed enough. It was always a common misconception that since a guy now got HID, then he no longer thinks he needs highbeams. But I would never want to give up mine as they are just as important as the lows, just made for use under a different condition
haha. LOOKS LIKE YOU CUT CORNERS ON THE PHOTOS :P Get a tripod and scrap the newbie pictures. I might be impressed with your S2000 retrofit, but the proof is in the pudding. No pictures=no props for good work. I saw this guy's retro with duct-tape. Nice beam pattern though.haha.

No duct tape here buddy,You never seen my conversion with duct tape,I can assure you that. I used a piece of pvc pipe to extent the housing because of projectors depth,Then glued it to the back. I will sell you the s2000 projectors themselves, make me an offer?? also, there are numerous places you can get plastic chrome plated

I'll take some better pic this weekend,up close of the housing and beam patterns against a wall. My digital camera takes crappy picks at night with flash off. If I leave flash on,beams won't show up.
How did I miss this thread.......anyway. HID Jeff, the duct tape comment wasn't about you, he's talking about someone else who did a retrofit like that.

I paid $500 for the used set of s2000 headlamps off of ebay and carved the projectors out. Make me an offer i can't refuse
Yes the mueller corp. will do work for individuals as well as companys but, they charge high dollar. you get what you pay for. the other company will do it to and they are alot cheaper

How much high dollar are we talking about? Does the other company do vacumm processing as well or is it just chroming? I wonder what the reflectivity of the process is?
yeah how much? offer you cant refuse would be? and what do u mean you carved out the projector i dont want a pair of busted up projectors i want oem s2000 projectors-post a pic.
jon-i dont care what was said in the thread previous, like I said I just want THE PROJECTORS, not his kit and all this i have all that i want the s2000 projectors.
the projectors on the s2000 are attached to an aluminum frame which holds the projector and the highbeam reflector. the projector has to be cut out to seperate because the black piece is part of the projector housing.
Can you give me dimension to the projectors? Overall length with connector? Max width, height, etc? Can you swap those ballasts with the Hella ballast?
lets set something up as soon as possible thats sounds good i have everything else, i just want the projectors-i have bulbs and ballasts, email me when your ready to do this
