Do you mean that the stock bulbs in your car now aren't cutting it, as far as colorwise, or brightness wise? Because the Ultinons will just be dimmer than your original bulbs if your wanting brighter new bulbs. If you just want looks, and don't mind losing 500 lumens then you can get your Ultinons. But just a warning, because I tried Ultinons (yes, the real Philips brand) in my car and I forced myself to leave them in for 2 weeks (to give them an honest fair shot), and I couldn't stand them. I took them out and sold them to somebody else and lost $100 just to try them, so make sure this is really what you want. 4100k rules as far as brightness. That is why the factories only use them, because the whole point to HID xenon in the first place was to get more lumens in the best color temp that helps people to see better at night

The 6000K bulbs will probably be just as dim (or dimmer) as your 4-year-old D2R's. I'd just replace them with a fresh pair of 4100K's.

I cosign on the above statement. Grab a pair of brand new 4100k Philips bulbs.....hell, you can find them on ebay for $70 a pair now.

I bought some Xenon projectors from '99 and the bulbs were dim due to the age....and I could tell from the get go, but once I popped in some new bulbs, it was like night and day.
