Hi guys,

Well, I guess I got a set of A4 projectors for my retro (since the A6s are too large). However, I'm confused. The FAQ clumped them up together and I'm looking at these pics in particular:

There's that funky clip thingy that is in the first pic. Is that something that can be taken off (since it's not in the second pic). Also, is there a difference in A4 and S4 projectors or are they exactly the same? Thanks!

if you're talking about the metal "fan" looking thing that goes around the bulb area.... ya, i took that off of that S4 i had. from pictures... it looks as though the A4 and S4 are pretty much identical.

Cool! Thanks. Yeah, its that fan looking thing where the bulb stick in. Also, is the bulb fairly stable in there? It seems that there is some play (at least in my projector). I mean it wiggles just a tad bit but when clipped down it's fine.
As for the fan thing, does it just pop off? I haven't taken a look at it myself yet as it's still in the headlight. Thanks!

on mine, there was a tiny bit of play even with the clip down, but not enough to do anything. with the clip down, it's in there pretty tight but not tight to the point where it absolutely would not move even if tugged at.

as for the fan thingy, i just used pliers/cuter to cut it off, it came out pretty easily.
