Well my retrofit is 100% completed now, I made some trim rings to go around the projector to make it look more OEM, I used to just have a piece of sheet metal around the projector, I just placed these rings over it. I got these at WalMart....I dont think they usually carry them, they were in the Thanksgiving display. $2.40 for a set of 4.

these are the bowls I bought....I used the flat one and cut out a hole so it would fit on my older E39 projectors, if I had Audi or newer BMW projectors, I would be able to use the bigger bowl. I picked these bowls because of the gunmetal/smoked look:

I found a new trim ring idea too. I have these centercaps for Mickey Thompson Classic II truck wheels


I cut the opening too large,luckily I still have 3 more to use

Here's what it looks like on the rim,the small bolt heads around the MT logo are not actual bolts,they're just molded onto the cap.

Yes, those are stainless steel.......I just used a 2.75 hole saw to cut it out. I had to sand with the dremel a little after that to make a perfect fit, so actually it's like 2.85 inches wide.

lol.......no, you just can't have your vehicle sticking out beyond that line, otherwise, fire trucks don't have space to remove equipment and etc......

that rule is there mainly for the guys with Ford F250 Duallys, or Excursions who like to frequent the complex.
