HI i got few projector that been used and the front lense kinna blurry, and I have heard people could sand it to make it clear again. Just wonder which part I need to buy and how I do it.. thx
Ellepsodial lenses are all in glass and is almost impossible to remove scratches. Depending on where scratch is, it might be in a area with no light and can be overlooked.
If u refer to front glass in headlamp it can be made of plastic or glass.

Judjing from the picture I would start with 1000 grit water proof sandpaper. Wet sand it. Then 1500, then 2000, then plastic polish, then spray with UV clearcoat.

here what I do today, I drop by autozone and grab 2 pack of sandpaper 1500grid, took me 2 hour and I get this. Should I go for 2000 grit? the surface really smooth, where do I get the plastic polish and UV clearcoat?

Man, looks like those headlights are painted. I would start from 800/1000 grit. Plastic polish could be found in any plastic specialty stores. UV clearcoat. I thought of using the one for marine uses. Looks in tools and matrials. There is some info. Anyone else any opinions on UV clearcoat?
